DGRW's Index Approach and Monthly Payouts
The WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Fund (DGRW) seeks to track the price and yield performance, before fees and expenses, of the WisdomTree U.S. Quality Dividend Growth Index. WisdomTree, the index provider and parent company of the fund's adviser, designed that index to provide exposure to dividend-paying U.S. common stocks with growth characteristics.1
DGRW takes a passive, indexing approach and generally uses a representative sampling strategy, meaning it generally will invest in a sample of index securities whose risk, return and other characteristics resemble those of the index as a whole. Under normal circumstances it invests at least 80% of its net assets, plus any borrowings for investment purposes, in index constituents and/or investments with substantially similar economic characteristics. WisdomTree's 2026 distribution schedule places DGRW in its group of monthly distribution funds.1,2
How DGRW Screens for Quality and Growth
DGRW's index starts from the WisdomTree U.S. Total Dividend Index, which defines the dividend-paying universe of companies that conduct their primary business activities in the U.S. and are listed on a U.S. stock exchange. From that universe it takes the 200 companies with the highest composite score on two equally weighted factors, growth and quality.1
To be eligible for inclusion in the Index, a company must meet the following key criteria as of the annual screening date. It must have paid regular cash dividends on its common stock during the preceding 12 months, have a market capitalization of at least $2 billion, have a median daily dollar trading volume of at least $100,000 for the preceding three months, and have an earnings yield greater than its dividend yield.1
The index is dividend weighted annually, based on each company's projected share of aggregate cash dividends using its most recently declared dividend per share. On the annual rebalance date, the index caps the weight of constituents exposed to a single sector, except information technology and real estate, at the lesser of 20% or two times their weight in a market capitalization version of the initial universe of eligible securities prior to the final selection of 200 companies, with information technology and real estate capped at 30% and 10%, respectively.1
DGRW Annual Distribution Totals Since 2014
Dividend Stacker's record of past DGRW payments begins with an ex-date of June 24, 2013, and shows 12 or 13 distributions in each completed calendar year from 2014 through 2025. Per-share amounts are adjusted for any share splits or reverse splits. On that basis the annual total grew from $0.557 per share in 2014 to $1.28 per share in 2025.3
The annual total declined in three years of the record: by 0.3% in 2017, 2.1% in 2020 and 5.8% in 2023. It rose in every other year from 2015 through 2025, most sharply by 31.4% in 2018 and 18.7% in 2015. The 2023 decline came after the total reached $1.30 per share in 2022, and gains of 2.1% in 2024 and 2.0% in 2025 brought it to $1.28.3
Principal Risks for DGRW Shareholders
The prospectus lists dividend paying securities risk for DGRW. Securities that pay dividends, as a group, may be out of favor with the market and underperform the overall equity market or stocks of companies that do not pay dividends.1
The prospectus also lists growth investing risk. Growth stocks, as a group, may be out of favor with the market and underperform value stocks or the overall equity market.1
The prospectus lists information technology sector risk for DGRW, saying the fund's performance could be negatively impacted by events affecting this sector. The sector can be significantly affected by, among other things, intense competition, both domestically and internationally, which may adversely impact profit margins, the supply and demand for specific products and services, the pace of technological development (including the development of artificial intelligence and machine learning), and government regulation.1
The prospectus also lists index and data risk, warning that errors in index data, index calculations and/or the construction of the index may occur from time to time and may not be identified and/or corrected for a period of time or at all, which may have an adverse impact on the Index as well as the Fund and its shareholders. The prospectus says the potential risk of a continuing error may be particularly heightened for this index, which is generally not used as a benchmark by other funds or managers.1
The prospectus lists non-diversification risk for DGRW. The Fund is considered to be non-diversified, which means that it may invest more of its assets in the securities of a single issuer or a smaller number of issuers than if it were a diversified fund.1
